Damn them kids got energy

Amy here---
The Day in Injuries:
8:00 a.m. - Girl with dairy allergy eats cheese. Girl goes to hospital.
8:10 a.m. - (injured pride) Boy with vulgar t-shirt walks by. I say, "Wow - your shirt says 'Rub my Nuts'." Boy looks hurt. Boy has on different shirt by lunch.
6:00 p.m. - Girl swimming gets gigantic charley horse and cries. I was her crutch for 3 hours. She is now doing well with a heating pad on it.
7:00 p.m. - Girl chewing gum realizes that a quarter of a rear molar has crumbled. This caused no pain, but was quite odd.
More to come...

It's 11:30, and we're both wiped out. It was our first official "Clan Night" this evening, so my co-mentor Ian and I took our 10 clanlings to the campus pool, which has a diving board. Every girl that could swim went off the high dive (I was so proud of them), and there were multiple flips and interesting combos on the diving boards. We took them for homemade ice cream and then to a nearby playground, which got them totally wired but I think they kinda bonded this evening. Pretty neat.

Eros' turn...

Well Amy's night was much more fulfulling than mine. The day started ok. I was tricked into saying a bad word so I had to make a fool of myself in front of everyone (because that's what we make them do), but that was fine. Then for clan night, we decided to let them color their salmon signs, take them for ice cream, and then watch a DVD. Once of the other RM's has a wallet of DVD's so we picked 4 for them to choose from. Granted we didn't have the best selection, but they didn't like any of them (Spiderman, LOTR: 2 towers, Perfect Storm, Finding Nemo). They wanted to get "Are We There Yet" with the truly wonderful acting of Ice Cube. We went to get ice cream and my co-RM went to rent the movie. Since we took one of the shuttle busses, they wanted to take a little joy ride. So I almost got everyone very hurt because they were talking to me while I was driving, "turn up the music", "change the station", "what's Chicago like", etc. So I drifted a little bit and rubbed the wheels on the curb. We had a little uncontrolled swerving, nothing serious, but it made me a little more on edge than normal. Once we got back to the dorm to watch the movie, it took about 30 minutes for me to get the computer to play the DVD because nobody knew the password for it. Then the oscar winning screenplay of a movie started and it was all good...I'm tired and want to sleep now.

Whatever- I totally wanted to see "Are we there yet?" Was it good? Ice Cube is a good actor... "Friday"!
Amy that was rad the way you crumbled a 15 year old's burgeoning masculinity by stating the obvious. Way to go! :)
Did I spell 'burgeoning' right?
